Athens 2015 is a success event organization wise as well. Not just athletes record set. UWW delegates who were present in Tae Kwon Do Indoor Hall all six days of the competition congratulated the organizing committee for a splendid achievement.

Hellenic Wrestling federation got one more…victory since Athens 2016 Veteran Worlds set a new record for athletes’ participants (869 men and women) from 49 countries. «We had such success and set a new record. Hundreds of athlete, coaches and team leaders put their trust in Hellenic Wrestling Federation and come to Greece for this competition. Mainly, most teams congratulated us and told me that Athens 2015 World Veteran Wrestling Championships was better that the Worlds that took place recently in Los Angeles. To emphasize it, I will just tell you that Mr. Tzenov is in favor for Greece as a candidate to organize Worlds juniors 2017 and will vote in favor after seeing the effort we put in these last week and the huge success we had», said Mr. Thanos, President of Hellenic Wrestling Federation.
