A great finish for Athens 2015 World Veteran Wrestling championships with an amazing Greek dance of all athletes along with referees and officials in the center of the mats. “We had a success championship and the Hellenic Wrestling Federation ought to be very proud for this accomplishment. It is by far, the best championship I have even been to. Better than many previous ones and way better than a lot of European, Asian, Mediterranean ones, etc” said proudly Mr. Thodoris Hamakos, member of UWW and Vice President of UWW Europe.
Native Greek, Mr. Hamakos has every right to be proud that Athens 2015 Worlds took place in his country. “I am very proud but at the same time, a bit disappointed that the State didn’t support this. It doesn’t make any sense. It is absolutely outrageous. Hellenic Wrestling Federation and volunteers did a great job putting all this together” he added.
